TU Berlin’s architecture programme is one of Germany’s largest and most experimental, in a capital city with a renowned architecture and design scene; teaching is mainly in German.

- M.Sc. Architecture: 2 years (full-time; German-language teaching)

- Intakes
- Winter semester (October); some programmes also admit for the summer semester (April). Applications usually close between January and May.
- English requirement
- German: TestDaF / DSH (usually level C1) required for German-taught tracks; English alone is not sufficient
- Entry requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture with a strong design portfolio. German language proficiency (usually C1) generally required; CV, motivation letter, portfolio and references; APS certificate for applicants from India.

Berlin is Germany’s capital and start-up hub, with a creative, international atmosphere and lower living costs than Munich. TU Berlin has a large international student body and no tuition fee for non-EU students.
